What This Book Helps With - Finding the book that
One of the questions I'm asked most often is, "What age is this book for?"
While my books are written with children in mind, the lessons are truly for all of us. Every story grew out of experiences I've had working with young people, families, and schools over the past four decades. They're stories that open the door to conversations that matter—at home, in the classroom, and within ourselves.
To make it easier to find the book that's the best fit for your needs, I've created a YouTube playlist called "What This Book Helps With." Each short video highlights the life lessons, classroom connections, and everyday situations where a particular story can make a difference.

Helping children (and adults!) navigate big emotions, notice their thoughts, and remember they always have choices. It's a simple, memorable strategy for growing through life's rough moments—not just getting through them.

A journey of curiosity, empathy, and connection between children in Michigan and Ukraine. It reminds us that even across oceans—and even during incredibly difficult times—we can learn from one another, build lasting friendships, and make a meaningful difference.
